The Rosskopf Sledging Trail is the longest floodlit winter sledging trail with artificial snow facility in Italy. It starts right by the Rosskopf cable car mountain station and runs for nearly 10 km round many twists and turns down to the valley station in Vipiteno/Sterzing where sledges can be hired.
Why not join a night-time sledging party on Tuesday or Friday evenings for a special experience on Vipiteno's local mountain. On these evenings the sledging trail is floodlit until midnight (cable car runs until 10 pm).

You can climb up on foot in two hours along the forest road to the mountain station of the Racines/Ratschings cable car. You can also reach the starting point for the sledging trail by taking the cable car. The sledging trail then starts immediately below the mountain station and proceeds right down to the valley (5 km).

The Allriss toboggan run is located in the Val di Fleres/Pflersch valley and leads from the Allrissalm mountain hut down to the parking lot high above S. Antonio/St. Anton. The low gradient is ideal for families with children.
